General Manager – Furniture Retail & Delivery Operations

Type: Full-time Leadership Role

Bay Area Furniture & Mattress is hiring a General Manager to run day-to-day operations and delivery logistics. This is a leadership role for someone who can independently manage a retail store, oversee warehouse operations, execute deliveries, and ensure strong customer experience. You will be responsible for operating the business while ownership focuses on growth and expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily store operations
  • Lead in-store sales efforts
  • Coordinate and execute local deliveries
  • Oversee inventory and warehouse organization
  • Maintain delivery quality and prevent damage
  • Handle customer service issues
  • Manage scheduling and workflow
  • Track KPIs and report weekly performance
  • Maintain showroom standards

Requirements:

  • Leadership experience in retail, logistics, or operations
  • Valid driver's license (clean record)
  • Ability to lift heavy furniture
  • Strong decision-making ability

  • Basic tech proficiency

Assistant Store Manager – Furniture & Delivery (Growth Role)

Bay Area Furniture & Mattress is hiring a motivated, dependable individual to grow into a store leadership role. This position includes retail sales, delivery operations, warehouse management, and customer service. The right candidate will be trained to take increasing ownership of store operations.
